Make up meeting: Jan 31 UPDATE
Make up meeting for Friday will be tomorrow, Tuesday, from 6 to 9, in Nord 400 Sears 480! We'll be having a re-showing of everything from Friday, so now's your chance to see what you missed!

January 27, 2012: WEEK 2
Hey everybody! The wait is over for those who didn't stick around after the meeting.
The winners in the ballot, in a really close vote, are

Mirai Nikki
So Friday, we'll be showing
Yozakura Quartet 2-3
Mirai Nikki 2-3
Mawaru Penguindrum 2-3
Higurashi Kai, as it was so close a vote, will be marathoned over two Saturdays so those who wanted to see it get the chance. I will let you know when we decide on which Saturdays.
Lastly, for those of you who are worried about missing episodes because of OhayoCon, we'll be having a make up meeting next week, though the day hasn't been decided yet. We seem to be leaning toward Tuesday, from 6-9.

The new (and snowy) semester is upon us, and that means we have another ballot meeting!
This will be on JANUARY 20 in NORD 410 @6:00pm EST (local time). I assume at this point that everyone knows how to get there.

This week is a little different so that we can fit all the episodes in by the end of the semester. ;)
Also, this weekend is our Anime Marathon, Saturday and Sunday starting Saturday at 3pm and going all the way to 6pm on Sunday! And we need your help. Anyone interested in volunteering to help us out in the kitchen, viewing rooms, or anywhere else we might need you should talk to me at the meeting tomorrow.
Lastly, the last sampler we watched was Fighting Foodons.

Last week's sampler was the first half of the 1-hour intro to Gintama. Try saying that five times fast. In Japanese!
Also, this weekend we'll be having a Nabemono party on Sunday from 1 to 8 in Guilford! Be sure to come for some delicious hot pot and Japanese snacks. (kind of a big deal)
